PGA To Introduce A Drug Policy
PGA September 20th, 2007The PGA has announced that there will be a drug policy brought into effect in 2008.
Before this policy is brought into effect, there is going to be an educational program for the players to learn about what substances will be banned before transitioning into testing later on in the year.
Golf, typically assumed to be one of the least likely sports to have a problem with steroid use, has come under recent attacks for being so slow to put something together.
While it isn’t expected to cause any problems it is still a necessary move considering the troubles that other sports have discovered through testing.
What are your thoughts? Is this a good move by the PGA?
