The PGA of America has announced that it has teemed up once again with USA Today to provide a Golf Equipment Hotline during January 26-29, 2006.

The Golf Equipment Hotline will allow golfers to call in and receive tips and advice about selecting the right golfing equipment from PGA professionals, and it is being help in conjunction with the 53rd PGA Merchandise Show & Convention in Orlando, Florida.

However, the toll-free numbers will not be made available until they appear in the January 26th issue of USA Today.

This is not the first time, a hotline has been held by the PGA. In 2004, when the PGA/USA Today Golf Tips Hotline was launched, there were over 2,000 calls made to the hotline, along with 600 emails submitted online.

Next year’s Golf Equipment Hotline is expected to have over 120 PGA Professionals available to receive calls and provide advice, along with the ability to submit questions by visiting the PGA homepage on the Internet. It is one of a series of events to mark the 90th anniversary of the PGA of America.
