The Winter Months
Tips & Advice October 22nd, 2005For those of us that are not fortunate enough to live in a warm climate all year round, it’s important that we take advantage of the winter time to improve our golf swing indoors. In the northern states, golfers utilize a golf dome (indoor driving range) to stay connected to their game.
Indoor driving ranges are very popular at family recreational sites. No matter if you’re an advanced or intermediate golfer, you’ll appreciate the environment inside a golf dome.
The golf enthusiast often uses the winter months to strengthen their weaknesses. Sometimes it’s practicing their swing and other times it’s through a strength training program at a local gym. Staying in good physical health is important for any athlete.
Core strengthening has a significant effect on your overall game. It’s surprising how sticking to a routine workout year round can eliminate the aches and pains associated with golf. So instead of hibernating this year, utilize the time to work on your weaknesses.
