Nick’s Net Works Garage Golfing
Equipment October 23rd, 2005
While I was watching HGTV tonight, specifically “I Want That“, I was surprised to see a golf product mentioned. Nick’s Net Works, a small company, has created a golf net that attaches to your garage door.
I have tried out numerous golf nets in the past and they always had the same undesirable characteristics: they were flimsy, unstable, and hard to set up. Although I do not own the Garage Door Practice Net, I think it could break away from these common faults. It is extremely easy to set up, just hook it onto your garage door. It has to be stable, being secured to your house and using gravity to its advantage rather than against it.
Found on their website, this video demonstrates how to “pull it down” (it is stored in a bundled position) as well as how the net takes the impact of a ball.
On the down side, this net is relatively expensive at $199 and an additional $35 if you want to purchase the practice mat.

There is great information on this blog. I like how you put things. I’ve added the feed to my Google Reader RSS subscriptions and will continue reading your work. I did have an issue with how fast this post loaded. Might be something to optimize.
