The Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings was for this week, showed Annika Sorenstam of Sweden in first place with average points of 18.06. Sorenstam had a total of 740 points after 41 events.

In the second spot was Michelle Wie of the United States who had a points average of 9.56, with total points equal to 153 after 16 events.

Paula Creamer of the United States ranked third with average and total points of 9.34 and 345 respectively. This was calculated after 37 events. In the fourth ranking was Yuri Fudoh of Japan with average points of 7.56 and a total point score of 322.51 after 51 events.

Wie has certainly moved a spot up in the rankings in which approximately a month ago during the week of February 20th, she was third in the rankings but moved up to her second place position during rankings the following week.

However, even though Wie is in the second place rankings, many critics are saying that whispering that third ranked Creamer will be the one to watch as the possible thorn in Sorenstam’s game. We will just have to wait and see…
